How much does it cost to install a home charge station?
Some key considerations to the cost of installation may include the following:
- Electrical Panel Condition: Your main panel must be up to code for a safe installation.
- Electrical Panel Available Amperage:

- Other appliances in the home affect the available amperage, and may influence the options available for installation.
- Charge Station Location: Long wire runs/limited access from the panel to the charger, including vertical distance, may add additional cost.

Is there any installation required for a Ford Mobile Power Cord?
Depending on your home’s electrical set up, it may be recommended to install a new 120V or 240V NEMA 14-50 outlet for Mobile Power Cord use.
